Vintage Aviator Pilot Leather Helmet Wwii Wwi HeadsetCheck out my other items! Be sure to add me to your favorites list! Hello, and welcome to another sf auction. You are looking at a very old aviator leather hat(helmet) with built in speakers and the cord that was used to power them up. This is a very, very vintage item and the leather looks to be in nice shape, of course especially for its age. I couldn't find one like this but i assume it's from the wwi or ww2 era. The speakers and jack also look to be in good shape. If you are a collector of war items or just very old aviation collectibles, then i believe you would be very happy to add this to your collection. Weither you just add the leather helmet to your collection, or would like to put it on display it would be a beautiful item to add to your collection. Just imagine who might have put it on and what were they exactly doing when they were wearing it.
Where were htey at? Were thye in a battle? Which one might have they bene in? Only the hat holds thoes secrets at this time. A man, of which know one knows who, used to call it his ofr the flying in which he was assigned to do. What an awesome collectible to have. Deatils on the helmetbrown leather. (2) side black ear pieces (say receiver anb-h-1 western electric, made in usa d173120). Poewr plug (pl-354). Haedset hs-38. I believe wwi ro wwii. This helmet is many, many years old. It's not perfect but it is in great shape for the age. There is a small seam on the inside of the helmet, under the ear cushion that is starting to come undone. The leather is worn, of course, but is in overall really good shape. You can also tell in the picture that the inside of the helmet shows more wear than the outside but again this helmit probably went to a far away country and fought for our freedom! Insurance is included since this item will be shipped via fedex. Any item sent internationally must have insurance and tracking. (paypal will almost always refund the moneies to a buyer if it is said that the item was never received. I was also told by a paypal rep that the seller must have tracking to the door to protect themselves from refunds that maybe should not of happened) i don't want to say no to the great international community so we just require that tracking and insurance si added to the s&h.
